4 Stores, 4 Ways to Save

My mantra when planning a shopping expedition is “shop at the right time, not the last minute”. Instead of rushing out when sales are hot and the FOMO is real, I wait until the right coupon (or sale) presents itself. More often than not, these coupons and sales will magically appear during a time when stores seem pretty quiet on the sales front. Here’s 4 of my favorite stores and how I save at each, crazy sale or not.

At CVS, take advantage of your ExtraCare card! CVS has one of the best loyalty programs around. Pay attention to CVS’s constant sales by checking their circular and subscribing to their emails. ExtraCare card members will often enjoy BOGO 50% Off deals and money back as credit to use at the store among many other perks.

At Kroger, look out for the Mix and Match sales. Mix and Match any number of items from a select list for a set price, such as 5 items for $5 or 10 for $10. You’re guaranteed to save on every item you include in the Mix and Match!

At Target, text COUPONS to 827438 (Target) to receive a periodic lowdown of any coupons available to use. Always know what’s on sale before you even hit the store!

At Walmart, price match. Walmart’s price-matching guarantee can save you money every time you visit the store. Use Key Ring’s circulars to view and compare prices with Wal-Mart and set up a shopping list with the deals you want to price match!
